The Badminton Association of Thailand (BAT) has decided to hasten the staging of its SCG Thailand Open by a few months and has rescheduled it to start later this month. "Thai players are top seeds in four events -- the men's singles, women's singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles," added Patama. World No.11 Tanongsak and world No.8 Ratchanok Intanon are top seeds in the men's and women's singles events. Sapsiree and Puttita are women's doubles top seeds, while Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree are top seeds in the mixed doubles event. Meanwhile, Ratchanok and Tanongsak will lead the Thai squad at the 2017 Sudirman Cup in Gold Coast, Australia from May 21-28.
